The Concept: Connecting Communities through Art
Our idea was to engage our service users in a collaborative art project, an endeavor that not only promotes creativity but also serves as a conversation starter. We believe that sharing stories, creating together, and offloading stress through artistic expression leaves a beautiful imprint for people to admire.
Location and Impact: Breastival Unites Belfast and Derry
To bring this concept to life, we proposed setting up on both Breastival sites simultaneously, always mindful of the connection we aim to foster. The plan is to create a visually stunning and meaningful piece of art that reflects the collaboration between like-minded individuals. What better symbol than a pair of boobs—one created at our Belfast site and the other at the Derry site?
Community Engagement: Inclusive and Accessible
Our goal is to make this activity as accessible as possible, ensuring that everyone, regardless of age or skill level, can participate. We'll provide hand tools, inviting even the littlest members of our community to contribute to this collaborative masterpiece.
